Tbear, ya saw ya boy came in second huh? oh well, mikey is really bad LOL but I like Denny. After reading about the bill etc. it seems as though this might end up in court. You don't think our local government would ever give we taxpayers a break do you? Heck if they could they would take everything we have to re-distribute to whom they would want. That's what our local government is, a re-distribution center of our(the taxpayers) wealth(what's left of it after they tax us to death). I read some blog where the guy was all upset because LCG wouldn't be able to tax us as much as he wants it to. I am amazed how people cheer on the government in it's pursuit of our hard earned money. Cheer cheer for more taxation what a dam hoot. Does anyone here think we pay too little tax?

I saw they had to tell Cravins "I can explain the bill to you, but I cannot understand the bill for you".
Lafayette is not exempt because we did not adopt home rule charter prior to 1974 like Orleans, EBR, Plaquemines & St Bernard. We will have to let Sec of State grant franchise to BellSouth/AT&T, and just get our fee.
Another nail in the LUS coffin. By the time the fiber is downin Lafayette, people in the "country" will have fiber already from phone compsany. How is LUS going to make a profit ?

Why is it Huval refuses to give out sales figures on the LAfayette Fiber Project. Is it not public record ? He says it is withheld for competitive reasons but I suspect he just does not want us to know the magnitude of the failure. I again suggest leasing fiber to Cox/AT&T, whomever.
