Allright Mr John and Ms Layne thank you for providing the information the adminisration was looking for. And yes I had sent one pm to Layne and posted in the board awaiting a response from either of you. Both of your registrations showed undisclosed sex which made it difficult to confirm there was no malicious intent. You must understand we have had similar problems in the past with multiple posters which is why we the administation perform detailed checks of Ips with new members. I have also been lenient not requiring posters to register, and thank you and your wife for registering, for in the future I may change this and require anyone posting to register. Both you and your wife enjoy the board, i think you will find there is no other one like it for Lafayette!!!

John, in reference to the school system I was responding to you in reference to this quote in your earlier post: "Step back from being so resentful for a minute. LUS fiber is now built out to every school in the community. That means there is locally-owned fiber within a few miles at most of every house in the parish." There is no LUS fiber ran even near any of the schools I mentioned which is why I wanted to provide you with accurate information when you said it was built out to every school in the community. I was aware of the propsoed plans to expand the system to the entire parish by 2007, but as of right now it does not go to these schools. So that would be great to offer it to parish residents as it passes by on its way to the schools, unless you are forbidden to access if you are not in the incorporated limits. Lets see if they are able to complete it by the end of 2007 to the schools, Ive heard of these deadlines somewhere before I think, like the Camelia Bridge project maybe As for as for being in the city, I dont know, I'm not sure I want to pay a city and parish tax while right now I only have to pay a parish tax even though we are supposed to be consolidated.

To all of the latest posters: we kinda got off of the subject of increased fuel costs on electricity bills and went into fiber. Although it is a linked issue being LUS is running the fiber, lets start a new heading for Fiber under Lafayette Government for any other replies to previous posts or new ones concerning the fiber. I have already created a new heading there so go there in response to fiber for the remainder of this topic. I cannot move each post only the whole topic from here so just keep it going under the new subject.
Just trying to keep everthing in order for any new members like john and his wife, and abbd, so they dont miss or have to look allover for topics that interest them.
