Does anyone know whether or not Rep. Boustany voted for the children's health insurance program?

He voted against it because of the expansion of the program to include middle class and above children.
I was opposed to the entire thing because 1) was to be funded by new tobacco taxes (overtaxed already) 2) is the first step towards socialized medicine, which I am very opposed to.
It is not the place of government to interfere with personal decisions be it church, drinking, smoking by taxing that behavior to the point that the average person can no longer enjoy or afford it. Boustany (in an e-mail) said he is for the program, just against expanding program. He further went on to say that as a physician, he was opposed to smoking and had no problem with excessive taxes on what he deems a poor social habit. Another republican gone astray. Same argument Blankstare proposed a few years ago.
