Let's see, where does one start ? The Supreme Court has ruled that the way a law is written by Congress does not matter when the kaw is not exactly what the President wanted. "5 little words" I believe the prez said.
Then the issue of marriage. Is that not for a state to decide ? It has always been a state authority to license anything from hunting, driver, marriage, doctor, lawyer, architect, accountant etc. Now the feds have a say ? No matter your belief on gay rights, this is a step too far. National driver license cannot be to far behind.
And now, why not allow Muslims and Mormon's to have 10 wives. Or perhaps one can adopt a pet. or even marry one. After all, is that not a matter of personal choice ?
