Why can we not select a super who stays a while ? We keep hiring these apparently unqualified men, pay them an excessive salary, pay them for annual and sick leave even though they keep no time records. I mean really, the job is management, not education; why not hire a good manager instead ? Hospitals do not hire doctors or nurses to run them, they hire business managers.
I see the Board is hiring a former board member 9Hefner) to do a study. No one sees an ethical issue with this ?
And yes, the board should use the District Attorney as legal counsel and not keep hiring these law firms just to spend a lot of money for what can be obtained for free. How much does the school board, parish government, clerk of court, assessor, and sheriff spend on legal halp when they could just use the district attorney ?
