Hear Fred Prejean on Radio 1520am Tuesday, Jan. 17th at 8:00am to 9:00am. If it's "facts" you're interested in concerning the M.L. King Street re-naming, tune in tomorrow morning.
Prejean says, we're not in Africa today and there are no "Chiefs" in our local Lafayette Black Community... just people! People who aspire to find a better life if they work for it, no matter who they are, where they come from, or what they believe. As Americans, our birthright entitles each of us to all the possibilities hard work and God-given talent can bring.
Inclusive in this is our God given right to have an "opinion" you call your own. However, opinions always have a foundation or basis. And it is that foundation or basis that determines the credibility of the opinion.
More........ Tuesday Jan. 17th on Radio 1520am, at 8:00am to 9:00am.

Benjamin and Williams, in their bitterness, speak for themselves. Love to use their elected positions to grandstand and play the martyr role. Sad, truly sad. Divicisive. Time for a new approach with new ideas and new ways of conducting the public's business. Threats, negativity, etc. don't work and won't work. Thanks, Fred, for stepping forward. We need you.
