What has happened to the Forum by the Lafayette Daily Advertiser; it looks like a porn site. I have sent a couple of unanswered messages to the Administrators.

Wow, it is a big joke. Looks like they gonna post every story that they have written in the last ten years. Par for the course for a fish wrap. Oooops I was speaking of their new site, I did happen by the old one and it's nothing but spam but alas it's about as professional as their daily publication. The editing is about the same to me anyway.

Looks like the newspapers site has become nothing but a blog for big ole bill. If a man has the option to delete posts he doesn't care for or agree with his left wing agenda, then maybe he shouldn't be allowed to post his opinion. I tried to register there again but big ole bill won't allow me because he won't give me a keyword to register. Or maybe . Doesn't seem like a open forum to me.

There are few things worse than the loss of free speech, either spoken or written. I hate censors of any type. I have no problem with people who do not agree with me, and value their input if coherent. It often lets me see an issue through someone else's eyes. If Bill will not let you log on to site, he is not a worthy journalist, and should be removed by Gannet News.

Has anyone else had a problem registering? When I try I do not get a password or hidden word or whatever to register. It says if you do not get one you must contact the admin. Maybe it's not bill maybe it's the way the site is set up now. Anyone else have that problem?

I have not tried to register there lately but chances are he might have locked it down to where you have to be registered and the admin has to approve registration before you can join. I have the ability to do the same with this forum, I did notice on that forum that several people were joining with 1 or 2 posts just to make comments on the redflex cameras in approval of them. Some of those posters sounded like ads for the company, maybe he might have done it for that, maybe someone will ask him the question.
